HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ARTWORK

Submitting artwork for printing is straightforward. At Buytshirtsonline, you don't need to worry about what format it should be? What size should the file be? Is the image clear enough for printing? At Buytshirtsonline, we guide you through any tricky questions and make any changes to your photo before sending it to print.

You must send us the best quality image possible, and if we think that the image is not suitable for printing, one of our team will contact you to discuss this. There is no point in sending a poor quality image to print because it will result in poor print quality. This is why we ask for the artwork to be vectorized or 300 dpi or more. The transparency of your artwork is also essential. Our team is more than happy to help you with this and will make any changes regarding this for you if you haven't already done so yourself, as part of our service and at no extra cost. Being the right size and format is essential in the set-up process, but if this is something that you're not able to, we can do it for you.

You can submit your artwork in file types JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, AI, EPS, PS, PDF, PNG, PSD, SVG, TIFF or TIF, and we accept both Raster and Vector artwork. We prefer Vector as this can be resized without losing picture quality, whereas Raster artwork will pixelate if enlarged. We make artwork print-ready; if you send us an image larger than 300 pixels, our design team will vectorize your artwork and send you a digital proof. We then allow you to make as many changes as you want, again, for no extra cost. We only go to print when you approve the final design. Remember, the better the resolution of your image, the better the quality of print we can produce.

Vector art is created using mathematical lines and curves, known in the industry as linework, using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Affinity Designer. As a result, vector images can be reduced or enlarged in size indefinitely, without any loss in image quality, which is why this is our preferred type of artwork for printing. Typical file types for vector graphics are PDF, SVG, AI or EPS.

Another vital consideration when submitting artwork to be printed is the size of the print area on your garment. T-shirts come in various shapes and sizes, which means they also have different print areas. Artwork sized for a 6XL t-shirt will not fit onto the print area of an XS. Artwork designed to provide an XS garment may fit in the print area of a 6XL but will probably look totally out of place. Our maximum printing area for screen printing is 36cm width x 45cm height. The size of the garment limits the print area. Our staff are more than happy to help you with this too.

Hopefully, now, armed with this information, the whole process of submitting artwork for print will become effortless for you. If not, please feel free to contact us, and one of our friendly staff will either talk you through the process or agree to do the work for you, free of charge.

We are very proud of the service we provide, and we're sure you'll be impressed too. Good luck. We look forward to hearing from you!
